On the afternoon of May 15, 2024, Wang Hao, deputy director of the Municipal Education Commission, led a team to SUES to investigate the preparation progress for the 2024 World University Championship Futsal, especially the preparations for the venues. The investigators include Li Jiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Yu Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of SUES, and Zhu Xiaoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University.
They inspected the Storm-proof venue, the Songjiang venue, and the hotel designated for the event. They also observed the training sessions of the SUES national team athletes, inquired about their experiences training in the venues, and earnestly encouraged the athletes to train hard for excellent results. Additionally, they addressed the issues raised by the school.

At the meeting, Zhu Xiaoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the university reported on the recent preparations to the leaders of the Municipal Education Commission on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 World University Championship Futsal. Zhu's report covered various aspects, including the preparations for the opening and closing ceremonies, foreign affairs, security, volunteers, publicity, and special venues. This report followed the preparation meeting for the event, which was presided over by Wang Hao, Deputy Director of the Municipal Education Commission, on April 15. Zhu also detailed the progress made, the requirements from the Municipal Education Commission, and the areas needing coordination and support from the Commission.
Sports, Health and Arts Department, Publicity Department and Planning Department of Municipal Education Commission Sports, Sports Bureau of Songjiang District, SUES relevant functional departments also attended this inspection.
