The 18th FISU WUC Futsal is to be held from June 10 to 16, 2024 in SUES (Shanghai University of Engineering Science). In order to promote the preparations for the tournament, the university held the first working meeting of the Organizing Committee of Shanghai 2024 FISU WUC Futsal on the afternoon of September 25th. The meeting was presided over by Zhu Xiaoqing, vice president of SUES.
President Yu Tao attached great importance to the organization of the tournament, and put forward three requirements to all members of the organizing committee. Firstly, the event and its organization should be highly valued. And take the event as an opportunity to inspire teachers and students to love the country, love SUES and love sports. Secondly, we should master the requirements of the event organization with a humble and cooperative attitude. It is necessary to use information technology to support the event and the work of OC, so that the members of OC can deal with the organization of the event more conveniently and effectively. Thirdly, the organizing committee's work should be carried out in a responsible manner. The newsletter of OC should be published regularly to better identify and solve the problems in the process of organizing the event. We hope that all members of OC will work together to successfully complete the organization of the event.
Vice President Wang Yansong made arrangements and deployments for the financing of the event and facilities. Mr. Xia Chunming, Vice President of SUES, gave suggestions of venues, medical and health care of the event.
At the meeting, it was announced that SUES OC of Shanghai 2024 FISU WUC Futsal comprised a list of personnel and organizations. The meeting emphasized that the organizing bodies of OC must follow the requirements of this meeting, according to the division of labor of each part, and in accordance with the timetable and requirements of the FISU, paying strict attention to the implementation and organize the event effectively.
Zhang Jianxin, Deputy Secretary General of OC, made a brief report on the preparations for the event, the timetable and requirements of the event, and the focus of recent work. Members of OC exchanged views on the event's conference affairs, publicity, and security, and activities, and stated that they would promote the preparations for the event in an efficient and orderly manner in strict accordance with the instructions of SUES and the requirements of FISU.
